Invited Session Proposal

About Invited Sessions

The invited sessions for the ICSA China Conference are selected by the scientific program committee. Of particular interest are sessions that will appeal to diverse audiences and are closely related to the symposium’s theme of Future in Statistics: Partnership and Innovation in the Data-Rich Era. All are eligible to submit proposals for consideration.

An invited session consists of either 4 presenters or 3 presenters and 1 discussant. The one-talk rule will be applied (i.e., each speaker is limited to one invited talk at the 2025 China Conference). Please confirm the availability of all your speakers before submitting your proposal. You may increase your session’s chances of acceptance by providing (in the general description of the session) details about the participants’ qualifications to speak about the topic. The scientific program committee is keen to receive proposals of invited sessions whose speakers will represent a mix of genders, seniority, and backgrounds.

There are a limited number of invited session slots. Individuals who are not accepted for the invited sessions program are encouraged to convert their proposals to poster presentations.

Please submit your proposal by January 31, 2025. The information required on the form includes:

  • Session title and description
  • Session organizer name, email and affiliation
  • Session chair name, email and affiliation
  • For each session speaker:
    • Name, email, and affiliation
    • Working title of their talk
To submit your proposal you must first register an account on this site. You may then submit and edit your proposals on your account page.
